Dublin - confidential Treasury Dock, Dublin

My client was relocating from two buildings in Dublin City centre to a new facility on the North Wall. With an interior designed by Perkins & Will and Coady Architects the office needed to accommodate around 850 workstations, together with comprehensive meeting facilities and break out areas.

Following a rigorous tender process KFDT & Wagstaff were appointed to supply the FF&E for the project working with Mac Group, the office fit out specialists on the scheme. Early site visits were critical to establish access into the 10 floor building surrounded by other construction sites, and manage the complexities of delivery via atrium hoist.

The team wanted to ensure that the building offered an excellent environment for both personnel and sustainability, so all commercial office furniture products considered had to comply with FitWell certification, fully documented throughout the process.

With over 100 office furniture items to the brief there was scope to add value in suggesting alternative products which could either save cost or deliver a better performance. Over a 3 month period showroom visits or samples were provided for the design team to have a hands on selection of almost every item, even down to a single coat rack.
